SILK DYE WORKSHOP
Join us for an extraordinary opportunity to learn the traditional Japanese art of Shibori silk dyeing from Setsuko Hayashi, a Master Artisan recognized as a national treasure. With over 60 years of experience teaching at museums, galleries, and art centers, Hayashi-san continues to inspire artists worldwide. She also creates exquisite textile batik designs for international fashion designers in Bali, Indonesia. Don't miss this rare chance to learn from a true legend in the craft. All materials and instruction included to create two two hand-dyed silk scarves. Great Thanksgiving activity to do with friends and family or just to try something new!
There are two class options on November 29. 10am-Noon or 1pm-3pm. To Register for your desired time, please click the corresponding image below. Thank you!
